In its next program, GHOSTLIGHT is thrilled to share two performances in two boroughs of two extraordinary pieces that span from deep human pathos to buoyant whimsy.

Each concert will begin with Geistliche Gesänge, a set of three exquisitely moving pieces by German composer Max Reger, spiritual successor to J.S. Bach. With contemplative chorales and electrifying fugues, Reger's masterpiece exemplifies choral composing at its finest.

Then, GHOSTLIGHT will present the colorful Romancero Gitano, a setting of Federico García Lorca poems by Italian composer Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco. For this piece, the choir is delighted to collaborate with Heiko Ossig, a renowned classical guitarist from Germany whose appearance is made possible by the Goethe-Institut.

We're pleased to share this program in both Manhattan and Brooklyn!
